Invisible-joint edgeband lamination

To make edge banding with "no joints" we use German manufacturer’s Homag airTec technology, which bonds the edging to the panel using hot air. This requires the use of the special edges that comprise two layers (a decor layer and a functional layer). Edge banding machine melts the function layer at an even temperature and flow rate and bonds it perfectly to the surface of the chipboard, making a zero-joint solid product.

Benefits of airTec technology:

• No visible glue line between the panel and edge band, thus creating impression of solid material
• No dirt concentrates between the chipboard and edge band
• Significantly higher adherence force of the edge compared to hot melt glues
